STEPPING STONE, a Montessori, Playgroup and Nursery, came into existence in April, 2004 with the prime objective of providing quality education to the kids – future of tomorrow, today. The emphasis is on creativity and innovative areas, grooming the blooming buds with fun-and-learn formulae. With only 8 kids in June 2004, 33 kids in June 2005, 152 kids in November 2006, this November, 2010 we desire to reach 160+ kids which in itself speaks of the phenomenal growth achieved in a short span of 7 years.
STEPPING STONE has made sincere attempts to introduce a multifarious educzati onal concept that harmonizes technological advancement and humanistic wisdom. This particular endeavour involves a paradigm shift – a reflective change in the mind set of the educators, tiny tots and their parents.
It is our deep conviction that education needs to be a joyful experience that facilitates the growth and transformation of young minds at their impressionable age and fortifies them with the required knowledge and skills to face the challenges of a competitive world.
We are aware, that in making these efforts successful, we are drawing inspiration from the primeval source of our national culture and its rich heritage. The said success is achieved only due to continuity of thoughts and quickened pace of execution.
Wedded to the sole edifice of ideology, we consider no sacrifice small in constructive work for the child’s future. It is no vain myth but a concrete movement.

Located in the heart of South Mumbai – Near Charni Road, Stepping Stone boasts of a 1200 square feet area. The Montessori, Playgroup and Nursery is centrally air-conditioned which makes the atmosphere ideal for development of young minds and growing bodies.
